Five Spice Sticky Ribs

lkg Chinese style pork spare ribs or belly of pork

For the marinade
2 tsp Chinese Eve spice powder
2 crushed garlic doves garlic
1 tbsp grated fresh root ginger
1/2 tsp chilli sauce
4 tbsp dark soy sauce
3 tbsp dark muscovado sugar
1 tbsp sunflower oil

Mix together all of the marinade ingredients and pour over the ribs coating them evenly. Leave in the refrigerator overnight (preferably 24 hours). Cook over a BBQ for best results or approximately 20-25 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees C.
